Fun Friday winner SueEllen Ainsley’s candid picture of her dog pinky wins this weeks challenge. We chose this image because it depicts a great example of candid photography. The dog in this photo is just chillin’ and watching something in the distance. There is almost a sense of wonder if the eyes of the dog as she stares into the distance. This photo was taken with a cell phone on a summer afternoon.

Candid photography can capture emotion, feeling, and action without the subject even knowing that it is happening. This is what makes this type of photography so powerful.
